Andrew Dipela

Mr Dipela is currently the Venue Manager at Ellis Park Stadium, one of the 2010 Soccer World Cup Venues. He has formerly served as the general manager: Football in the Premier Soccer League.

His extensive involvement in the football fraternity got him appointed to different positions within national football structures, including serving as the Public Relations Officer for the South African Football Association. Mr Dipela served as a council member of the Technikon Witwatersrand in 1998 and also as Municipal Manager for the Bela- Bela municipality from 2001 to 2004.

He has served in many positions within the ANC Youth League, including as Chairperson for the Western Cape Region, National Secretary for International Affairs and as Deputy President. He has also held various positions within community and student sports associations.

Mr Dipela studied law at the University of the North and has also completed several executive programmes in the area of sports administration.
